Differences
There were many differences between African Slavery and American Slavery. One difference was in how the masters treated their slaves. African slaves were treated as almost equals. The slaves lived, ate, and played with their master's children. American slaves were treated as if they were animals, and were less than their masters. They lived away from their masters, and slaves ate with other slaves. Another difference was that African slaves were not allowed to go home, or leave the compound at all. The slaves in America were able to leave the compound, but only if they were suppose to, and were watched when doing so.
This picture represents American slaves working with other slaves.
